Upgrading Graphics Technology
I'm not sure if this has been discussed, the search function is currently disabled...
Anyway, since Jeff Strain has frequently discussed the longevity of Guild Wars (sometimes giving lifespan estimates of 5-6 years!) are we going to see the game explore new graphics technologies as hardware advances? IE. In a future chapter, might we see higher res texture packs, HDR lighting, directx 10 features? etc etc. Guild Wars looks great so I don't really have any qualms with its visuals...I was just strolling through and thinking about how awesome HDR lighting would look in the tar pits in Ascalon. |

i think there maybe some chnages in detail in chapter 3 not much but i think they will mainly wait for direct x 10 to come in and then update to that so i think we are mainly looking at chapter 4 or 5. or i could be thinking to far ahead
